The EarthLab Summer Photography Program offers an engaging curriculum with hands-on exploration of traditional and modern photographic techniques. What to Expect:
Hands-on Exploration: Engage in hands-on exploration where participants experiment with various lighting techniques to enhance their understanding of the art and science of photography. By immersing themselves in practical exercises, participants will uncover the transformative power of light and its impact on visual storytelling. Through guided activities, they’ll discover how different lighting conditions can evoke mood, enhance composition, and elevate the overall aesthetic of their photographs, bridging the gap between art and science within the broader theme of Light and Sound Waves.
Immersive Workshops: Dive deep into the world of photography through immersive workshops led by expert instructors. Mrinal Bahukhandi is a versatile artist deeply immersed in the world of lens-based creativity. Specializing in experimental storytelling and the use of 19th and early 20th-century photographic processes, he seamlessly blends traditional techniques with modern innovation.
Based in Goa, India, Mrinal brings a unique perspective to his work, whether crafting captivating films, penning thought-provoking narratives, or creating mesmerizing handmade photographs.
Mrinal extends his experience and shares his knowledge through organized workshops and his creative space, Atelier Monad, a platform for artistic expression and exploration.
